I was running a simple profile cut in a blank of mixed wood and the work piece moved causing the VFD and Elite Masso to emergency stop themselves. I went through the proper re-homing. For the VFD, it had an error code on it, and at this time I cannot remember which one; now the VFD will not turn back on. The breaker was not tripped. Can anyone give me any advice?
That is highly unusual. Be sure to reach out to support@pwncnc.com for official support.
A few things to try…
- Confirm your circuit breaker didn’t trip. (already checked)
- Confirm the C13 power plug is pressed firmly into the side of the vfd.
- If you’re using a vfd keypad extension, dbl-check that wiring isn’t damaged and perhaps plug keypad directly into vfd (with proper connector) to verify.
- Also carefully check the power cord wire isn’t damaged.
- Unplug all wires except for the power cord to see if that works. then slowly plug things back in and see when the problem returns.
Again… reach out to support directly for official supprt, but these are items i can think of off the top of my head.
