I ordered an 80 mm air cooled spindle kit and received a 2 pin male adapter from the vfd to my cnc controller which has a 6 pin connector. I ordered a new cable figuring I just had gotten the wrong cable and it’s the same one. How is this supposed to work?how does that 2 pin connector connect to the 6 pin connector comming out of my cnc controller. I can’t get my cnc up an running until I get this sorted out.

You don’t need to have every pin to be used, and they’re made like this to be semi universal. My old SO3 had the 6 pin molex, and there was only 2 pins used on that as well.
The Onefinity Buildbotics is the only controller that uses the 2-pin port on the VFD, but the Elite with Masso uses no more than 4 at one time, and the reason is how its wired on the inside which only requires a reprogramming to move from one machine to another.
