MTC handle light stays on when the controller is off

Hello all,

My MTC handle light stays on when the controller is off. Any ideas on why that may be?

Normal.
The light is not tied to the controller. IF you pressed the button and had sufficient air pressure, the spindle would “shoot” the holder out… ask me how I know.

In order for the light to be on the following conditions must exist:
If the VFD is on, it cannot be in a “run” state. The VFD can be off.
The cable must be plugged from the VFD to the PE
The MTC Button must be plugged into the PE.
The PE must be on.

If any of the conditions are not right, the light will be off.
