Inlets Panel with accessories: Jtech / MPG Pendant

I recently installed my new inlets panel. After ordering the panel (but before receiving it) I realized that I have the Jtech laser module, which mounts to the rear of the Masso. I considered canceling the order, because I really didn’t want to move the laser module somewhere else. But I figured I could come up with something, because it looked like the threaded mounting holes used for mounting the laser module were still exposed after installing the inlets panel.

I ended up using some 1" sleeve spacers with longer M3 bolts. Worked perfectly, I have attached a pic:

I also ran into an issue with the Masso MPG pendant. It uses a 15 pin connector which attaches directly to the Masso controller inside the touch screen, so you still have to run that through one of the slots on the 1F connector panel, which get covered when you install the plastic cap that comes with the inlets panel. Of course you could just not use the cap… but that’s no fun. I cut the bottom out of the cap, so it still looks good but allows cable(s) to run out the bottom if needed. Pic attached:

Hopefully this helps anyone who has those accessories and would still like to install the inlets panel.

Very nice. I have the same setup and was considering the inlet panel. Nice solution. If possible, would you reply with the source for 1" sleeve spacers and the length of the M3 bolts.

We worked with jtech, and they created this for us, for you

I just got the spacer sleeves out the hardware bins at the local big box. The screws were a different story. I couldn’t source any M3’s locally, and didn’t want to wait on order… so I had some 6-32’s and I re-threaded them to m3 with a tap and die set. Obviously, the long way around… LOL. A better option would be an M3 male / female threaded stand-off if you can source those somewhere.

But alas… I see this is all irrelevant now because the good folks at PWN and Jtech have designed a new mount for exactly this situation. Reference Chris’s post in this thread. Yet another example of PWN’s never ending determination to give us what we need (and want)!! Thanks guys!

Chris… I had no idea… is this brand new? Perfect solution. Always nice to have a stock option as opposed to improvising!! Thank you!

Yeah, they released it Monday maybe Tuesday

The MPG you discussed also, that was an oversight, and I modified the cover to allow for an exit, but I don’t use that cover anyways.

Thanks for the reply. Does look like PWN has it covered now.
