ATC Tool in spindle not detected

So my tool changes are running perfectly until the very end. Tool changer input 2 is not going high to indicate a tool present. M10/11 is working and the tool is clamping. Manual tool changes are fine. I have no clue what is going on in the logic.
This is the tool in the clip at the point it says no tool present. When I move it out of the clip it is clamped in the spindle.

This is the error code being displayed.

How’s your air pressure?

Perfect, manual tool changes are smooth, it runs right until the end of the tool change

Is it going down far enough, without going too far

Yep. Its clamping the tool, i moved y axis out to see if it was clamped, and it was. I followed its logic on the screen and it was failing to go high after clamping the tool. So it wouldn’t proceed to raise the z axis up

Are your inputs inverted? Its not supposed to go high, it’s supposed to be low

https://docs.masso.com.au/wiring-and-setup/tool-changers/mill-tool-changers/linear-tool-changer-type-2

In your inlet wiring you set input 7 to high
And input 8 to high
Right?

So it goes low when it clamps the tool. Thats not happening.

But are your inputs inverted? I got a failure to release the tool when they weren’t

I switched the input and output to 9, thought it might br a bad opto coupler, but it made no difference. Tool error on every change, always at the end. No matter which location I use
And yes my settings are inverted correctly.

Just trying to find a known good state… if it says there’s no tool present when there is one present, does that mean it says there’s a tool present when there isn’t?

Take the 2nd tool out of the rack and try it there. Also if you can send us a video, probably command a change, change it to f1 and give us dialog with what is happening.

Just trying to find why yours is acting abnormal. A shot of the linear tool change setup screen would help as well. Here you have to upload it to YouTube, but you can send the video to us on the support channel via support@pwncnc.com

I shut it down out of frustration, i will pick it up again tomorrow and send information requested.
Thanks

I saw it and responded

Ive reviewed the youtube ATC spindle install video and at 12:52 I noticed that input 8 was not inverted it was in fact set at low. Is that correct? Or should we set both 7 snd 8 high?

The tool changer is working and changing tools. Got some great after the sale service from Chris and the team. Thanks PWNCNC.
