VFD Speed not matching GCode after upgrading firmware to 1.6.4 on Onefinity BB

Encountered an issue after upgrading the firmware on my Onefinity BB to 1.6.4. I’ve been running the Warm-up Gcode from PWNCnC with no issues on the previous firmware but after this update, when I run the GCode the spindle immediately jumps to 15000. I restarting and running again, same issue. I tried a different GCode from the Onefinity site, also starting at 6000 and the VFD again displayed 15000. I then attempted to just enter the GCode directly on the screen of M3 s6000, again VFD showed 15000. Just testing things out I entered a GCode of M3 s15000 and the VFD went to 24000.

I noticed after the upgrade to 1.6.4, I had to reselect the Tool for the spindle, but instead of PWNCNC Spindle, I had to select EM60. Is there a known fix for this or do I need to just go back down to one of the previous firmware versions? Thanks

EM60 is the fix as onefinity is not going to list our spindle ever again since they created a sister company that sells the same spindle PwnCNC has for years.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be it. I flashed the OS back to 1.3.1 the same OS I had just yesterday when everything worked fine, but the same problem is still happening now. I enter the GCode to start at 6000 and the VFD cycles up to 15000.

since you didn’t change anything other than the firmware, it has to be a setting in the firmware somewhere.

I’ll point you here and after verifying settings contact support at support@pwncnc.com
