Hello.
I don’t believe that OneFinity supports ATCs with their Vectric post processor.
Is the best strategy for programming tool changes to create a script for each tool number and then copy and paste it into the G code?
I have no experience programming G code (although I watched a couple of videos and it doesn’t seem that complicated) and am waiting for the upgrade to my OneFinity Journeyman to make it an Elite machine, so I haven’t worked with the Masso controller yet. I’m not sure if my question is valid, or if the answer will be obvious once I have the new controller.
Either way, the ATC I ordered has a 12xxx order number so I’ve got plenty of time to figure it out. Any resources anyone could point me to would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Onefinity doesn’t have a controller. They sell buildbotics and masso controllers with their cncs.
Buildbotics is an incredibly weak controller, it doesnt even support a tool setter.
Masso on the other hand is a very capable controller and supports atc and tool setters among a lot of other bolt on accessories.
The post processor you’d need is masso atc arcs or something like that.
Thanks for your response. I had to read through my question to make sure I didn’t indicate that OneFinity has a controller. I’m glad I didn’t. I have a OneFinity Journeyman that has a Buildbotics controller and I’m upgrading to the Journeyman Elite which has a Masso controller.
I’ll look into the Masso ATC arcs post processor for my OneFinity Elite Journeyman.
If anyone else has any resource suggestions, I’d really appreciate it.
I got it from the first statement. If that’s what the post processor you use is called i appologize for misinterpreting. These are what I use.

No worries. I tried to cram as much reference info into the title as possible - I could have worded it better.
Thanks for including the list of post processors you are using.
Just to clarify: you are using a OneFinity machine and this (these) post processor(s) will create the g code in a job to automatically change tools, correct?
Or, you are not entering your own Txx and M06 commands because the PP is doing it for you, right?
Thanks, and I appreciate your patience.
Yes, i have an elite, yes i have atc functionality, correct i am not entering txxm6 unless i want to.
