Has anyone thought about putting it on a onefinity Machinist to do small things like chess piece’s?

I do have a Machinist, it was my first Onefinity. This size is only available with the BlackBox controller. Unfortunately this controller doesn’t support full ATC functionality, but it can support MTC functionality (https://youtu.be/IFOkSZM4JEs?si=AVdAw8KUqn2Md77U).

Daniel, On a side note. I did order a spindle kit recently that has not shipped yet. I was wondering if I could switch that to an ATC kit? I am finally getting around to upgrading my X-35 to a Masso controller. Just wondering.

Did you email support@pwncnc.com?

No I have not being that it was the holidays.

and well that worked. they are going to switch it for me just have to pay the difference. great people.

I think I worked an hour or so on Christmas, and New Years was just a Monday to me.

Glad you got taken care of.

Advanced production (Army we’d call it the ADVON) motors going thru qc. The publics motors should be arriving soon… no, I don’t know when.

I lost some sleep the other day after doing QA on these motors. Without me realizing it the Manufacturer changed the proximity sensors from PNP which is what we were testing this whole time to NPN. This is catastrophic since they’re shipping the huge initial ATC motor order within a few days (this coming Monday 1/22) of the testing. The photo above is from the initial batch of motors to ensure quality of the production motors.
After several hours of lost sleep we identified the sensor change we performed a minor change to our testing harness which will be mirrored with our Masso/ATC cable inlets.

After making the test-harness modification all motors checked out perfectly.
