Ok - another PE dumb question - single metric dial edition

I have the single dial type PE. The gauge is in kgf/cm2 format. Everything I’ve read talks psi. I have 100 PSI at the compressor and the dryer. What number should I be looking for when pressing the MTC button? I am seeing about 0.3 when releasing a tool by hand. My problem is when I try to automatically change a tool I either do not get a full engage of the tool in the spindle or I have to set the Z so low that the tool holder is “bouncing” because the mechanism is pushing down to release and is impacting the top of the tool holder. I’ve spent 3 days trying to get it working and the only thing I have left is adjusting the internal regulator on the PE itself.

Mine pushes the tool holder down about 0.1" when clamping. There is noticeable deflection in the tool rack. I think this is normal.

Same thing happened on the industrial machines I operated in the past.

It comes pretuned. No adjustment is needed

I would have thought that as well but the googles say 90 PSI should be about .63 and not .25 - after removing the front bezel to investigate anything obvious I did not see anything outside of the ordinary - no hose kinks etc but the dial indicator is noticeably loose and the adjustment knob is not locked like i would expect it to be.

Are you able to change tools? If your regulators were as low as you say on the drawbar (the 90psi takes most of that requirement), you’d have to assist it out by grabbing and pulling it out.

The deduster does take about that much though

I would contact support.
