Elite 2 bearing issues, Official Onefinity censored the topic

Man I feel your frustration, now here is my story.

About 2-1/2 years ago i took delivery of my Onefinity Journeyman I had already ordered my spindle kit form PWN CNC. From day one I had a few issues that were resolved by support from Onefinity. Soon after I started to have more serious issues. Things like carving for two days and then upon powering up the Masso, it would not home Onefinity responded to send them a video and they would help fix the bugs. Being not tech savvy I struggled sending a video to them as I was totally lost with attaching a video using gmail as they restrict size of videos…After some success Onefinity took the position that they do not warranty 80 mm spindled units but I bought the 80mm spindle carriage from them so

They asked if I could send another video showing the whole machine operating. I said ok I can do that as now I know haw to send larger files. After receiving my video clearly showing my PWN CNC spindle I was told all my warranty claims will not be honored because I installed a non oem product Now what to do ! Well I had coaching from a nice gentleman named Mitz who helped me immensely but still issues persisted. I finally reached out to PWN CNC and Clinton Caraway helped me figure out some issues He recommended that I reach out to Massso.

Masso responded quite quickly and after a voice call with Peter in New Zealand, soft limits were never installed by Onefinity. Question was how the little sign sent with my order was carved using my machine and never was set up correctly..

Well after replacing all stepper motors and replacing all limit switches I was at a loss of what to do next. I even sent my vfd in PWN for testing all was well.

It seems that intermittently the machine has worked but never two days in a row. PWN CNC has and continues to provide great support. But now going back to Masso. My issues persist as being able to carve to days in a row but not able to home the following morning .I can move all axis however they all work at a snails pace in the opposite direction when jogging. My password was changed, not by me as I never paid attention as to how and why would I do that. Used the HTG thing to fix the log on and have successfully changed my password.

So I anxiously await a chat with Peter from Masso, Ive invited my tech savvy son to be handy, only a 10 hr drive from Florida, when Masso reaches out. I am a patient 80 year old man,

Phil
