Here it is the VERY FIRST Onefinity Elite machine… EVER. That’s right… Mark at Onefinity sent me his own machine to help design Spindle compatibility for this awesome CNC machine.
What better way to honor the very first Onefinity Elite than to pair it with our very first plug-n-play ATC System! 10 tools front-to-back on the left side gives us tons of automatically changing tool options

Sweet! Can’t wait to get mine all setup. Also, can’t wait to get the new Z Brake Motor from 1F so I don’t have to prop the spindle up with scap wood either!

That’s a thought I had then started coming up with the requirements, and it’s not going to be a simple undertaking, both engineering and installing.
Not saying it’s not something ive dismissed, but there’s other more important things i need to work on
Yep, I’m on version 4 in my cad designs, and every version solved one problem, which then led to another. I’ll let you know when i start printing my failures…
Someone has recommended what i affectionally called a “kickstand”. I’m working on just such a design but the brake is a far far better long-term solution to an unfortunate machine design decision.
