need help to buy correct dusk collector sys for 80mm water coooled 2.2kw spindle on onefinity elite system. . I watched a formal Video from PWN rep who used the Fein trubo dust collector vacuum. I decided to fill suite. My problem is the components required to configure the Spindle the same way. it is not very clear what i need to order. I would like to use the dust boot V7 or V10 with the vacuum connection on the front and the brackets to restrain the hose and the connector for the Fein on the boot componet. There is also a bracket on top behind the spindle to again hold the vacuum hose above the spindle, what is that device ? TIA!!
In my personal opinion I’d find another dust collection solution for the Onefinity Elite. The Fein vacuum and a lot of those style vacuum and designed to extract “dust” from thing’s like random orbital sanders and even track saws. When people were using benchtop CNCs like the Shapeoko 3 and the X-Carve you were taking 1/8" deep cuts at your 80-100ipm. That’s what Daniel designed the v1 and v2 boots around and is what got PwnCNC off the ground. However these boots are both now discontinued. With machines like the Onefinity Elite you can now cut much deeper in a single pass, use much larger bits and cut much, much faster. The combination of these things make the amount of chips produced and the size of the chips more than the Fein can handle. It’s going to overwhelm the motor and constantly clog up the hose.
The type of dust collection that is best for a CNC can be debated forever. I don’t claim to know it all but I have been a professional woodworker in a small one man shop for 30yrs and have had almost every style of dust collection from a shop vacuum to 5hp cyclone I built myself before Oneida Super Dust Deputy style cyclones were available.
Depending on the power you have available… I personally recommend either a Record Power CamVac or Rikon wall mounted dust extractor. The CamVac will be MUCH more powerful but will required 220v. The Rikon will still give you MUCH MUCH more suction and static pressure than any standard shop vacuum.
Setup a cyclone separation system between the boot and the vacuum and you’ll have a system you never have to think about, clean out stopped up hoses and can just concentrate on CNCing.

many thnks clinton, i fully understand and agree with you. thr fein is easy return at home depot and i will purchase th ricon as. it will fit in my shop. also i will buy the first stsge chip remover. now i will still need to buy. the components for mounting the hose to spindle and dust boot v7 or v10 preferably , not sure if front or back mount is easier. can you or someone else can list the components i need to purchse from PWN ? TIA
I will convert the vacuum from 4 in to 2.5 in matching the most cyclone solutions even though i cannot fit one in my shop at the moment, just need to convince wife i need to to move the the freezer a few feet and she is “having none of it”.this dust collection system will be dedicated to the CNC. I believe the V10 dust boot is the most viable at this time for the Onefinity elite system. so just need to know the components required to run 2.5 in hose onto the spindle. Any help identifying the parts would be greatly appreciated and i hope my idea makes sense.

I have an 1F Elite Foreman with a PWN 2.2kw 80mm spindle. There is no one answer for the dust collection question. I am using a Oneida Supercell, which is great but all dust boots I have tried get their brushes sucked in and chips get out. I mostly use the PWN v9 for sheet stock like cutting baltic birch with a 1/4in compression bit. I use the Cavalier Design spindle boot for leveling type tasks such as using the 1F a 30inch planer leveling a piece of live oak rough cut. It also lets me keep my laser mount in place. Those 2 can both mostly installed at the same time so change over is not a massive PIA. Neither is perfect and if I can find some stiffer/denser brushes both would be better. With the Rikon you would likely be fine with either and not have the brush suck in challenges. Please post up how it works for you.
The v10 has a 2.5" option designed for clear (or clear-ish) wire hose. We have adapters for popular hoses available.
Then something like hose control thru our ultimate hose clamp is always nice, and could be as simple as a spindle base and an attachment for a DC to the side or a 90° base, arm, and the same aforementioned attachment if behind the machine
We’re here to help if needed, but those are the best options.
More information can be found here, with descriptions, assembly and example configurations.
Thank you Chris, I beleive I have figured out the puzzle pieces and ordered the UHC I needed ( at least a start till I see what arrives and anything else i may require for my specific setup. TY!
I have the Fein. I had the suckit boot and indeed it sucked.
I purchased the double barrel boot from Etsy, Cavalierdesignand3D.
There is no dust in the air or left on the surface. Excellant boot. You can adjust the height of the boot and brushes. A little expensive but the workmanship is great.
The brush is about a 4 inch diameter. No side clearance issues. Brush and bottom of boot come off (magnetic) making bit changes easy.
Hose comes off the top.
