V10 Dust Boot w/ATC Narrow Track?

While I wait patiently for my Black Friday purchases to arrive I’m starting to 3D print parts for the v10 dust boot. Does anyone have any guidance on choosing the narrow brush track vs the regular track?

I’ll be using the PwnCNC ATC System on a Onefinity Elite Woodworker with a 4" dust collection hose connected to a Oneida Mini-Gorilla.

I use the narrow. When placing the racks you just need enough clearance along the Y axis

I put some valuable nuggets here

Not sure if this helps… but I have the V10 boot, and I have both wide and narrow brush tracks with varying brush lengths for different operations / bits. I placed tall racks along the X axis at the rear of the machine. I was able to get 15 racks and a tool setter. Masso does allow tool setting to still take place outside the soft limit area. With this setup, I can use both the wide and narrow brush tracks and it minimized wasted space between racks.

The tool racks are on magnetic bases flush mounted into the spoil board, so if I need the space back, for example for tiling a larger project, I can just pop them off and switch back to manual tool change mode. I’ve attached a picture for reference.

Thanks @BPSOswego. Which Onefinity do you have? I’m guessing that is 48" wide for 15 tools. Mine will be 32" wide.

Yes, I have the Foreman, 48 x 48.

I am working on this right now..I have the V10 boot so planning to run my tool racks along the back like this…love the idea of moving them if I need something larger. where is your tool setter located?

My tool setter is in the back. on the far left (facing the machine) end of the tool rack line. If you zoom in on the photo you can see it there… it’s the Ugly Dog digital tool setter.
