Ran a warm up on the spindle. Upgraded 1F to 1.6.1. Now the spindle won’t run. Checked the Tool Config page in 1F and the tool type field was set to disabled and the Mod Bus sections are gone. The only tool type that looks like ours is a PWM choice, but it doesn’t work. I wish I saved and could revert 1F. Anyone else having this issue?
Tried EM60 in the tool type field and the spindle started running immediately. Sorry for the false alarm. I was unaware of our tool type being EM60.
NOT a false alarm. I came here looking for a resolution to the very same problem. I upgraded yesterday and today my spindle wouldn’t run via G-code. I ended up putting it in manual mode to run my project. I sent an email to Onefinity support, but they’re closed until Monday. I’ll come back here and let you know if there are any additional configuration changes.
Apparently, there was a one-line bullet point in a notice that our spindle name was being changed to EM60. Ok. It would have been nice to know that our spindle setting would change to disabled and that we will have to go into the settings and change to EM60. I know it would have saved me a lot of grief. Once you do that, all is good.
Did you get an answer fron 1F?
I did not. I changed it to EM60, as per other suggestions here and it’s been working, so I stopped trying to contact anyone else about it.
Sort of newbee question, where do I make that change. New to Masso.
Its not a masso thing, it’s a buildbotics thing
Thank You , Guess I’m still waiting for PWNCNC
Like your spindle to show up?
Lead times are pretty short compared to the 30+ days they were this time last year
