Shipping to Canada

I had to order an extension cable for my spindle kit. IT WAS SHIPPED TO Canada. Very expensive. $ 120 CDN including shipping. To add insult to injury, another $54 in brokerage fees. Of all the items I have shipped from the US, UPS is the only company that goes through Customs. I don’t mind paying the GST, it the $35 for brokerage that I object to. it is very cost prohibitive. I suggest not using UPS for shipments to Canada.

Hello, we hear you on that. I believe this was during the tail-end of the USPS strike and most Canada customers were temporarily using UPS. If you know of any other carriers you have had good experiences with such as DHL, let us know because we are open to suggestions. We may be able to add a 3rd option in the future.

In my experience, shipping by USPS to Canada is usually the most economical option. USPS shipments will get delivered by Canada Post and if there are taxes assessed (HST) when clearing through customs, the brokerage charge is much more reasonable ($10) compared to UPS.

Shipping Spindle to canada (Niagara Falls ontario) is $250, shipping to Niagara Falls NY is Zero lol. its crazy.. honestly. if you near the border. ship to the NY side. and drive across.
