Pwncnc conversion kit vs Onefinity's

I am curious as to the difference between pwncnc conversion kit vs infinity’s, especially since there is now about a $1.000 difference. Why should I spring the extra cash for yours?

Hello Calbert, happy to help.

We poured our hearts into this conversion kit as it is the control mechanism for our Dominator CNC machine. There were no corners cut when we developed how to wire it up and make it functional.
Here are some of the key differences:

  1. thicker wire used across the board along with proper wire organization and other features.
  2. Our conversion kits have 2Nm steppers not 1.2Nm; we also have a 3Nm option.
  3. Our Power box comes with a 36v Meanwell power supply, that can be powered by either 110v or 220v. The PB Enclosure is also upgradable later to 48v if you really want to push the 3Nm steppers hard.
  4. All of our wiring is shielded with our stepper wires being a custom wire design that is double-shielded.
  5. Our Inlets panel comes by default along with a whole host of aircraft style connectors that make our system completely plug-n-play.
  6. Our conversion kit can later be transferred to the Dominator if you decide to upgrade to better mechanics.

We are a small mom-n-pop business that has real passion for this hobby. We aren’t here to get-rich-quick rather we’re here for the long haul. We want you to enjoy the hobby and learn new things and expand your skills.
If you choose their conversion, cool… if you choose ours, wonderful… we are here to help however we can.

Another benefit….the head honcho of PWN actually reads the forum and takes the time to respond to questions personally.

As does his support team. And the quality of the equipment and supplies? Top notch.
