Nobody said the first prototype of a testing harness has to be pretty. Love these wago connectors… makes throwing together proofs like this really fast and easy.
Through an unfortunate wiring mistake, I had magic smoke emanating from my Onefinity Elite controller. Luckily I had a spare controller and was able to quickly get backup and running.
This meant that it was highest priority to come up with a testing harness that’ll let us validate all wires, connections, and such related to the Pneumatics Enclosure.
This harness is the first iteration that’ll let me test the full functionality of the PE without getting near a Masso Controller. Mistakes will quickly be caught just like they are with our VFD’s test-harness.
Eventually I’ll iterate on this testing harness design and build a proper 3d printed enclosure and make it super simple for our warehouse workers to ensure properly built PE’s… but for now I’ll be using this prototype prior to hooking it up to my Onefinity Elite for additional testing.
