Onefinity Forum Censorship

I tried deleting my postings, and i got an error message that said basically “this post is too old, you can’t change or delete it”

Okay I added one sentence:

A few more modifications and I added a screenshot of the posting manipulation. Think it’s okay now.

Kinda glad I canceled my Redline spindle order.

On a completely unrelated note, I hear PWNCNC is amazingly fast at shipping spindle kits. Now I need to find an electrition to get me a 220 outlet near my CNC, for uh no reason

HAHA! We were stocked and ready for Black Friday 2024. I even had many of the motors pre-warmed up and ready to go!

Diana. Your post highlights just one of the many reasons I sold my Elite Foreman package that I ordered around Black Friday, and ordered a DOMINATOR package. PwnCNC has more than just great products, you have a fantastic reputation. Looking forward to putting my PwnCNC spindle back to good use once my DOMINATOR arrives.

Hey all,

Just saw this at the OnefinityCNC forum:

Shipping is Unsatisfactory!

Label created on 05/05/2025- UPS still has not received the package. I am finding the appeasement tactic unacceptable and misleading. Either allow us to purchase another spindle without damaging our warranty or get us the damn spindles. This is just wrong.

No further comment necessary

And bang, that unpleasant post is made invisible.

The author had added this:

Knowledge is great but not having the spindle on the machine is making my investment a great big lump of crap. It is nearly 6 months since I paid in full.

Hey all,

I added one more sentence:

Furthermore, Onefinity now states that using the PwnCNC spindle/VFD may void the customer’s warranty for their Onefinity CNC machine.

Edit 2025-05-17:

Hey @Diana, hey all,

in case you were wondering whether Onefinity reads or scans the private messages of forum members, I found out they do:

The other day in the Onefinity forum a user complained that because he has been waiting in vain for his Redline spindle for five months now, he now has only seven months left on his twelve-month Carveco license. I then sent him a private message via the forum asking him if he didn’t actually think that was crazy. I also told him that Daniel has the original spindle/VFD product in stock and that it contains the same G-Penny spindle and the same DELIXI VFD as their plagiarized one.

Now I am blocked from using the private message function on the Onefinity forum. The envelope icon is gone and the “Message” button does no more appear when I click on a user. And all my private messages there are gone.

That’s the nature of (insert condescending term i can’t think of)… they can do whatever they want, you either accept their conditions and use the service, or reject it and don’t. I can’t remember the last time i browsed their forum.
There’s so much that i dispise about their business practice, and had i known sooner, my life would have likely taken another course.

It’s not uncommon for companies to say “use another of our products for the best results” (thinking car wax and clay bar or car wash soap), but i can’t recall having experienced a company resulting to the fear mongering and customer censorship that they have and general unhelpfulness… even when it’s their obligation. We had someone reach out to us about using their onefinity probe. Onefinity told them that adding our spindle changed the polarity of the machine, their words… whatever they think that means, but the problem was they’d zero z, then immediately try and zero xy, without resetting the height below the probe plate.

Hey Chris,

sure, that is something they can do, block me for their private message service. Just sad that I can’t see my private messages of the last four years anymore.

Maybe I was a little bit too naive to believe they would not scan private messages?

But manipulating all those users’ posts so that there is no mention of Daniel Moran and his ingenious spindle/VFD enclosure product anymore in their forum archives, so that they can better sell a plagiarized version of it, and more, replacing the content of users’ posts with text that makes it appear that they wrote that you should buy their Redline product, that’s a form of identity theft. They use your name to publish something worldwide, something you never wrote.

They simply shouldn’t have done that.

My opinion is, if you have a good product, that speaks for itself, then you don’t need to do something so low.

Let’s wish the Dominator CNC big success!

Yea, They lost me as a satisfied customer when they banned me from the official Facebook page for mentioning that I bought PwnCNC’s spindle because I couldn’t wait for the free Redline. Despicable Company. I Sold my Elite Foreman after 2 months and ordered the Dominator. Their loss and definitely my gain. I am much happier these days.

Hey Joe,

my next CNC machine will be a DIY one, but at the moment I have no choice, I have invested the money into a Onefinity Journeyman so I will use it until I will have earned enough to buy other material.

Regarding building my own CNC machine, I am heavily inspired by this project (Youtube) ( → project’s homepage)

Hey Chris, hey all,

they’ve also blocked me for posting something. At least I am set to “moderated”.

Recently someone wrote me:

“If 1F had any good sense, they should offer you some kind of compensation for all the knowledge you share. But instead, they have chosen the path of the dark side.”

Yeah, 4000 posts in four years in their forum, that were a form of unpaid support for their customers.

And I still get positive feedback by private messages that thank me for what I wrote and published there.

Obviously, you’re a loose cannon who can’t be trusted with your letting anyone edit your posts…

I am simply such a naive person not considering how people really are.

On the other hand, my experience says the world is full of nice and fair persons!

You are actually part of the reason I purchased a Onefinity machine in the first place. Before I actually bought the machine, I lurked on their forums and did lots of searching to answer questions I had. You were in every single thread I read giving out a ton of information. At the time I thought you were a Onefinity rep providing support.

I learned the difference fairly quickly after the fact but you were single handedly a reason I thought they might have good customer service.

The fact they were willing to throw that away is mind blowing to me. Especially when you see the sarcastic and condescending answers their actual support provides on their own forum.

Hey NewsVan,

what comforts me is that I always enjoyed answering questions or imparting knowledge. Sometimes I’ve been told why I don’t take money for it, but then I think, why, I do something completely different to earn money. I just did it for the joy of it.

And I will continue to do it, but in forums that are more worthwhile, such as here, and finally on my own homepage, which I would like to gradually expand into a good collection of knowledge in the future.

By the way, great thread here on the Onefinity forum:

How long before they hide/delete it? It’s in the last category so there’s a chance it could survive.

In the brake thread that i was heavily involved with before they locked it and was deleting posts, i took a jab saying something to the nature of “only dictators and tyrants act this way… which are you?”
That was basically the end of me wanting to be on their forum and after that my contributions dropped off
