I’m running a couple of year old 65mm aircooled spindle on my oneFinity Journeyman x50 - and have done reliably for sometime.
Today when I powered it up and ran a longer V Carve job, about 15mins in, my bit stopped spinning and started dragging - ultimately ruining the workpiece. I had error code Err31.
I hit stop, start - and it span for a bit before Err31 again.
I went through and confirmed all the cables are secure, and blew air through the controller to make sure it was dust free. Powered it off and on - and was still getting this - after the system ran for some time.
Without any changes I can tell - it stopped - and I was able to get some new wood, and run the job sucessfully.
So now I’m left without confidence in the system. Google tells me this could be a short in the wiring - but nothing is rubbing, no wires are exposed and nothing had changed from countless prior runs.
Any ideas?
