BST 1.5-80-24K
I thought my coolant pump stopped working however I trouble shot the problem to the spindle. Coolant will not pass through it. Tried to clear it with air pressure to no avail.
Which end shall I open the spindle to clear it out?

Additional information; I’m running RV winterizing fluid as my coolant. I don’t think alga can form in that stuff. Ideas?
I’ve seen it once before, but I’ll try to help you remedy.
Do you have the kool connectors or stock fittings?
Kool connectors, remove the outgoing connector. I cannot emphasize this enough, be very careful removing and reinstalling them. Depending on when you bought your spindle would be if they used purple locktite or a strip of teflon tape. More recently its been the purple loctite. When installing them, i would use a wrench, and let the wrench fall naturally, then when it stops falling naturally give it like an 1/8th extra turn. This depends on if/how much gunk is on the threads. you just want the kool connector to be flush with the top of the spindle, but dont be afraid to undertighten. when you put it back together and turn your pump on you’ll know if you gotta give it another 1/8th turn.
The stock connectors, just remove the outgoing hose, it should have a wide enough opening.
Get a bucket and run your pond pump with the spindle upside down, rotating as necessary.
