2.2k 220v water cooled spindle very little water flow through spindle

I have 2.2k 220v water cooled spindle and have very little water flow through spindle (distilled water). I verified the flow to the spindle is very good, and coming out of spindle is a small amount . I do have the quick connect/disconnect hardware installed (at the factory) . I am using CW-5200 to cool the spindle which constantly gets the flow error E6. This is a new spindle straight from the PWN factory with NO modifications any ideas please assist??

Thanks Chris will do asap !

I had the same prroblem, the enemy is algae that forms in the spindle. The spindle has very small and flat channels in the spindle, so small obstructions like algae will slow down the water flow. Since I treat the cooling water with an algae remover my water flow is perfect. Hope this helps.

Hi rguertn, many thanks for the reply. In my case i had a brand new chiller and spindle so no chance it was algae. Hopefully your findings will help someone else !

have you got a link for algae remover plz ?

I’ve used products like this for other water cooled applications. Basically any fresh water aquarium algaecide should work.
