Was checking if there was some updated video on setting soft limits to house the tool rack of an onefinity elite.
I only see the masso video from 5 years ago
or if anyone would not mind giving me a bit of help on setting my soft limits

I wrote this a while ago, but to set soft limits is F1 I believe and is just under the axis in question.

thank you just got it set up along my y axis but my tool setter is in the soft limit area and is set to auto tool zero when homing…, machine homes but does not execute a tool zeroing it just stays in the homing position
Any warnings?
If it just stay’s I would verify that checkmark in the tool setter section.
If there’s a warning, there’s a note that says that it wont complete the touch off if it’s in the soft limit no-go zone area.
It homes all axis and then instead of going to the tool setter location it just says “please wait” and says that forever.
No warnings comes ups
the homing button just is yellow
I think I need to finish setting up the tool changer and tool positions before I set the soft limits ?
I found this on the masso homing page:
- If after homing the machine sits and flashes Homing but does nothing you may have a tool changer enabled on your machine but have not set it up correctly. Some tool changer types home during the homing sequence. Change the tool changer to manual until you have completed the install of your Tool Changer.
later today when I get back to the shop ill disable the soft limits finish fully setting up the tools and then retry
