If I’m going to cut my own acrylic for the makers file. What size acrylic do I need? And, what bit, feeds and speeds would you recommend for cutting it? I have heard cutting acrylic to quick will cause it to melt. I am brand new to CNC’ing. So new I’m still waiting on my Onefinity Elite Foreman and PwnCNC 2.2kw ATC. Any help, tips or tricks will always be appreciated.
1/2" acrylic for 4" hose z dependent variants
3/8" acrylic for 2.5" hose z dependent variants
1/8" acrylic for z independent boots
Try an 1/8" “0” or “Oh” flute. Cutting it too slow can melt it to too
Any idea how long or how wide for the acrylic? Thank you for the other information. Write it in my notes.
I can’t speak specifically, but the v9 requires more than the v3
The v7 requires more than the v10
If you get a 12x12 piece you should get a practice shot
We also sell the acrylic if it’s too much to diy
