I seem to be doing these out of order… but hopefully things will be in-order from now on.
I just published level-set #1: https://youtu.be/8trzIDzRpbg

Alrighty… figured it out.

This will lead you to the youtube playlist where i’ve figured out a really awesome flow. First off… before this month my videos were all raw and unscripted. I’m sure it was easy to tell that i was just talking about information i was very passionate about and helping you all at the same time.
Recently… and my stats prove it… scripted cleaner, and to-the-point content is far more appealing to everyone.
So, i’m going to do both. I will build on the machine and capture random b-roll film i can use later. This way i don’t have to be pretty or have the right words to say or even be in a talkative mode. This also lets me focus on the work to ensure i’m doing it right because you guys deserve my best work.
After i’m reached a natural pausing point that i’m calling Level Set points… i will record a raw video of me talking from behind the camera and showing all the things i learned during that stage of the build. ThIs will let me free-flow the video and talk to you all like you’re literally standing right there. This is far more natural for anyone, but is more in-line with my previous videos.
This footage i’ll add to the build-series as a “raw” video. On youtube it’ll be unlisted from my main collection of videos, but still be available in the playlist i’ve created and linked to above.
Lastly… i’ll write up a proper script that ensures i capture and convey all of the vital details of a build. This one will follow my other scripted and clean videos which are relatively short, easy to digest and has tons of good information to follow along.
The biggest advantage is you get the best information and delivered in a few ways for however you want to absorb it best. Read the manual… watch the level-set to have clear and concise checkpoint items… and watch the raw if you need that extra bit of help.
