I’ve noticed a wide range of prices on tool holders. For example, I’ve seen, “ISO20 ER20-35L Balance Collet Chuck G2.5 30000RPM” for $110 for 5 ($22/each) and then I’ve seen the PwnCNC tool holders for $40/each (but didn’t see any specs). Given that the PwnCNC spindle maxes out at 24,000 RPM my thinking is that anything balanced to G2.5 at 24,000 RPM or higher is adequate.
To determine which is the best value what specs should one look for on a tool holder?
