Brand new to the CNC world and am waiting for the delivery of my Elite and ATC. In preparation, where do I find bits for the spindle/ATC? I want to make sure I have some on hand when my equipment arrives.
Lastly, are there bits small enough to make puzzles? Right now I use my scroll saw.

You’re going to probably have a hard time making a puzzle due to inside corner/outside corner.
Bits are bits, and the rules of no bearings still applies.
Ebay, amazon, toolstoday, idc woodcraft, codys cnc engraving, bits & bits, spetool, rockler, woodcraft, and if you’re really in a pinch home depot and lowes are all places to get bits, and there is only 2 or 3 i haven’t gotten bits from at some point in my journey.
Then as far as brands sold at multiple places, there’s whitside and amana (maybe more, but that’s all i can think of)

There are indeed many bits on the market but we chose 6 different bits that will let you make a whole bunch of stuff. The only bit you’ll really need is a good surfacing bit… something from whiteside is a good starter. These ATC’s are very powerful… and our 2.2kw spindles can easily handle a SlabSlayer if you wanted to get really crazy with it… but this particular bit won’t fit into the tool-racks we currently have available.

Thanks, Daniel. What size bits do I need for the ATC? I have purchased the full ATC from you, just waiting on it to ship. I want to make sure I get bits that fit in the tool changer.
The spindle doesn’t hold the bits. The spindle grabs Holders. Those holders sit in Racks when not in use.
The holders use Er20 collets.
ER20 collets come in various sizes up to 1/2" shank bits.
Your ATC will come with 4 holders, and 4 flush mount racks and will also come with (1) 1/2", (2) 1/4", and (1)1/8" collet. As Daniel said it will also come with a couple bits from a few different companies to get you started.

Daniel, I just placed my order for an ATC and my Elite Foreman tonight, I’ve been ordering some bits here and there knowing I was getting close to being able to place my orders but have not ordered a flattening bit yet… I had not seen the slab slayers before but really like the design. Which size are you thinking/suggesting for the 2.2kw setup?
I will receive my ATC and spindle system tomorrow (3 May). you said the ATC comes with 4 flush mount racks. Do the racks include the tall or short racks? If not, I will need to order some quickly.
The flush racks are flush, there are also short and tall (with magnetic options) and qcw.
