I worked with our 8020 dealer to replace the Avid “stock” stem-plates: 40-2130 | 40 Series 3 Hole - Center Tap Base Plate - 40mm x 80mm with M10 Tap

It does raise the entire machine a few inches, but is more than sufficient for our needs here.
