3D printer incoming?
My prediction: ClearCore servo motors?
EDIT: scratch that, Teknik’s servo lineup is called ClearPath, ClearCore is their industrial controller (would be somewhat of a downgrade from Masso, but who knows)
What so good about that ?
Servos could be faster, more accurate, and perhaps take more aggressive cuts (honestly not sure if there’d be any noticeable difference compared to the closed-loop steppers); but as I mentioned the name doesn’t even jive with the “Core” of the announcement, so probably not the new product being alluded to.
Ok, ik this is a dominator thread but what do you think. Of the motors on the of elite ?
No idea, I don’t have one and am not a real authority on the topic (I’m a mechanical engineer but not a specialist on motors/controls, nor have broad experience with all the hobbyist CNCs out there). Daniel could probably comment, but as you mentioned it’s a bit off-topic to this thread
