Proper connection of the IoT for use with the Chiller

I have used the chiller with my ATC for a while now and I have found that it does an excellent job at controlling the water temperature. The only issue I have with it is the fan noise. I do not want to listen to it when the spindle is not in use.

I have finally gotten around to trying to set it up for use with my IoT. Connections are very straight forward. I had thought that the IoT was intended to turn the chiller on when the spindle reach a speed of 6000 rpm and would be turned off when it was lower than 6000 rpm. I suspect I can accomplish this by plugging the chiller into the always off side. But the setup video said to plug it into the always on. I use a 220v whole shop cyclone dust collection so I have no need for the IoT to control it.

Can I set the IoT for this purpose?

Normally off, not always off, but yes, you can plug the chiller in there.

Normally off will turn whatever is plugged in on when the trigger signal is sent.
Normally on will have it where it turns off when the trigger signal is present, and on when it’s absent.

OK. Thanks for the clarification Chris.
