I’m replacing some cabling z-stepper because I damaged it and I’m curious: what is the best way to route the cables around the stepper and under the stepper motor cover?
The cover should have 2 slots bringing the cables up, from there bring them back and down.
I’m sorry, I’m not 100% what you’re looking for in an answer

There’s no reason to apologize! If I’m not able to explain well enough to get help, that’s on me.
I think I see what you’re saying, though:
- If needed, separate the cables a wee bit.
- Run them up along the “grooves” between the dip switch panel and the stepper.
- Then run the cables down “over the top” from the back of the dip switch panel.
