I’ve purchased the MagLock 3D printing bundle for makers and have printed the hose side of things (the MagRing and MagRound).

Is there a mostly generic tool side of things? Or is this something where nobody _actually_ makes dust ports in any reliable size and we all just get to play with calipers?

Not sure if this answers your question, but I have generally used a [coupler](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CDPRR6RC?th=1) for my tool side connections.
I have since attached ~3’ segments of hose to my tools, but my jointer still uses a coupler.
If your plan involves 4" connections I would recommend[this](https://www.printables.com/model/1303802-pwncnc-maglock-locking-ring) design from steve dash

It’s going to be all 4" ducting and thenise adapters after the connection if something needs to be reduced.

Follow up question: on your planer, what is the mag lock attached to? Is that in the 3d.print bundle and I missed something in the bundle?

the fitting is what came with my jointer. I just used the coupler from amazon linked above to attach a mag round/ring… then on my hose i have the design from steven dash also linked above.
It makes it necessary because my jointer is about 18 feet away and I have a 20 ft hose. Its on an island so its unlikely to get dedicated ducting
